Our Services

We monitor mother and newborn for a minimum of 3 hours after delivery and perform a complete newborn exam, providing 24/7 phone support thereafter. We do a home visit at 24 hours with baby massage, studies have shown them to be very beneficial to newborns.

Postpartum visit at 72 hours and after the milk comes in, generally around day 5, offer metabolic screening (PKU) for the baby and provide breastfeeding support as needed.
Follow up visits at the office are at 2, 4 and 6 weeks, with papsmear and birth control counseling. Aware of the need for new parenting support, Homer Birth and Wellness also offers, free of charge, a “Postpartum Mothershare” every first Monday of the month, advertised on its Facebook Page.
